Thiruvananthapuram witnessed a major blaze at a TVS scooter showroom near PMG Junction early Saturday morning. The fire broke out around 5 am, with initial investigations pointing to a possible short circuit as the cause.
Firefighters arrived promptly and managed to contain the flames, but the damage was extensive. Large sections of the showroom were completely destroyed by the fire. Scooters on display, customer vehicles brought in for repairs, and spare parts stored on-site all fell victim to the blaze.
Vehicles stored on the showroom’s upper floor suffered total destruction in the inferno, leading to significant losses for the business. Authorities are continuing their probe into the exact cause of the fire and assessing the full extent of the damage.
