3 women killed, 20 injured as bus overturns in Tumakuru

Tumakuru: A tragic accident on National Highway 48 at Chikkanahalli in Sira taluk of Tumakuru district claimed the lives of three women and left over 20 passengers injured. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 am when a private bus traveling from Goa to Bengaluru collided with a roadside divider and overturned.

The bus was carrying 29 passengers, three of whom were killed instantly due to the impact. The injured passengers were promptly rushed to the Shira Government Hospital for medical treatment.
