Kalaburagi: Five students were caught cheating in examination at Kalaburagi College, and the Principal has been accused of promoting exam malpractices.

Gulbarga University Vice Chancellor Dayanand Agsar caught five students copying in BA, B.Sc and B.Com first semester examinations on his visit to a college in the District, and they have been now debarred from taking the examination. During his visit, Agsar also found that the Principal was helping students to cheat and that no lecturer was found invigilating in the examination hall, sources added.

The VC also plans to write to the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Bengaluru seeking disciplinary action against the College Principal. He also has directed the University Registrar (Evaluation) to delist the examination centre.
