Kasargod: An alleged fight over a poster that broke out between the SDPI and Muslim League party workers led to stabbing of two SDPI members, on Monday late night at Edneer, here.
The injured are Ashif (25) and Rasheed (28). They have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru and are being treated.
According to the sources, heated arguments took place between two factions after a poster was damaged. This snowballed into a physical fight, during the course of which two were stabbed.
The Vidyanagar police had reached the spot and assessed the situation. A case has been filed and the investigation is on.
