Bengaluru: Amidst the on-going pandemic, the third edition of the KWAA – Karnataka Women Achievers Awards in association with C. Krishnaiah Chetty Group of Jewellers and Lead Monk Digital was hosted on December 22.
The award ceremony recognized the phenomenal achievements of women across various professional fields. The award is a testimony to the achievements and accomplishments of women across Karnataka.
The first of- its- kind award ceremony was held today at Vivanta by Taj – Yeshwantpur. The event was attended by Chief Guest Isha Pant, IPS along with Dr C Vinod Hayagriv, Director and Managing Director of 150 years C Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers.
Talking about the KWAA awards, Managing Director and Director of C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers, C. Vinod Hayagriv said that “The Karnataka Women Achievement Awards recognizes multi-faceted women who are generating a paradigm shift in our community by being the thought leaders in their respective fields. Actor and Founder Director of KWAA, Spoorthi Vishwas said that KWAA strongly believes in our ethics, values and ideologies of recognising only the truly deserving unsung women achievers. Every year we have evolved with the brand, process and representation.
The chief guest of the event, IPS Isha Pant, shared her real-time experiences reiterating the fact that nothing can stop a woman from achieving her goals once she is determined to.
The 20 women to receive the awards and the different categories are: Leadership Award – Ottilie Anban Kumar, Youth Icon Award – Alina Alam, Entrepreneur Award – Anitha Swamy, Literary Award – Dr Reshma Ramesh, Outstanding Environmental Change Maker Award – Divya Shetty, Outstanding Influencer/Blogger Award – Erum Saeed Khan, Professional Women Achiever Award – Dr Shanthadevi Sannelappanavar, Differently Abled Women Achiever Award – Hita Prem, Excellence in Fitness Award – Dr Nikita Suresh, Amazing Mother Award – Swarna Honamma, Excellence in Film Award – Ivy Manohara, Excellence in Television Award – Asha Latha, Excellence in Radio Award – R J Sowjanya, Excellence in Journalism Award – Pinky Rajpurohit, Excellence in Fashion Award – Vidya Vivek, Excellence in Art/Culture Award – Hima Bindu, Excellence in Sports Award – Shruthi Keerthi, Excellence in Social Service Award – Chandrakala Bai L, and Unique Women Achiever Award – Nagarathnamma K, Lifetime Achievement Award – Dr Usha Kini
The Red Carpet evening also witnessed an exclusive fashion show by the award winners and the jury team – styled by Ms RebeccaIreland, Project Style India.
