Bengaluru: Actors and reality show anchors Akul Balaji and Santosh have denied links with drug mafia in the city.

It may be recalled that both the actors were summoned by the CCB sleuths for probe and the duo met the officials on Saturday.

The two have reportedly made it clear that they don’t have any links with Vaibhav Jain, one of the peddlers nabbed by the investigating agency.

According to the CCB sources, both Akul Balaji and Santosh were summoned for inquiry based on the statement made by key accused Vaibhav Jain.

It was alleged that Jain used the villa of Santosh on Airport road and Akul Balaji’s farm house in Doddaballapur. However, both the actors pointed out that they had rented out their facility legally and Jain was managing the properties.

Santosh alleged that Jain didn’t give the rent properly and he cancelled his agreement in this regard.

After recording the statements, both the actors returned.

According to the sources, the CCB summoned both these actors after confirming that Jain had organised parties in the facilities owned by them.
