Mysuru: IAS Officer B Sharath, who was transfered from the post of Mysuru DC even before he could complete one month has been admitted to hospital.

As per sources, it is said that Sharath was depressed after his untimely transfer and as his health deteriorated, he was taken to Kuvempunagar private hospital.

It may be recalled that IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri took over as the Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru on September 29.

Sharat had moved Central Administrative Tribunal questioning his transfer and CAT had posted the hearing for October 23.

The government sources had said that the state government was unhappy with the way Sharath was functioning even as the COVID cases in the district were witnessing sharp rise.

Further, he had reportedly not submitted any plan for conducting Dasara amidst the pandemic. These were the major reasons for his untimely transfer.
