Bengaluru: The state government ordered the closure of all the sub registrar offices till May 23.
A decision in this regard was taken by the revenue department following complaints that sub registrar offices may become super spreaders as the registration process continued.
As registration process involves bio metric authentication and photo capturing, there was demand to stop the process till the end of the Corona second wave.
