Bengaluru: Amid Covid 19 crisis, and ironically amid social distancing mandates, the prostitution racket continued in the city. On Thursday night, the police arrested three persons and rescued 27 women.

These women are from various north Indian states including 9 from Nepal and 2 from Jammu and Kashmir.

The raid was carried out by the Puttenahalli police at a posh building under their jurisdiction.

Apparently fear of COVID19 is not one of the considerations, customers of this service have.
