Bengaluru: The cold war between former chief minister Siddaramaiah and BJP state chief Nalin Kumar is far from getting over.
In a latest tweet, Siddaramaiah has questioned Kateel, if he has the courage to announce free COVId-19 vaccine for the people of the state.
Taking a dig at Kateel, Siddaramaiah said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka has announced free COVID vaccines to the people of Bihar.
“She got elected to Rajya Sabha from our state and announced free vaccine for people of Bihar. Do you have the courage to convince her and get the same plan for our state too,” he quizzed Kateel reminding that it is the BJP which is in power at the state.
A Twitter war broke out between the two leaders on Thursday. Nalin Kumar Kateel had made a statement refering to ‘Huliya’ (Siddaramaiah) and ‘Bande’ (DK Shivakumar) and said that the former will be sent to the jungle, while the latter will be blasted soon.
Taking exception to this remark, Siddaramaiah tweeted and said that Kateel is ‘useless’ and unfit to live in a civilised society.
The BJP and Kateel objected to such remarks by Siddaramaiah and said that the language he has used against Kateel only shows his own culture.
