Bengaluru: BJP national general secretary in charge of the State Arun Singh met legislators individually, amid the speculation over replacing Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa here On Thursday June 17.
On the second day of his three-day tour to the state, Singh met with around 40 legislators personally, ruling out any talks with legislators about the leadership situation and expressing satisfaction with the performance of party workers and MLAs at the ground level.
In response to some disgruntled legislators’ statements, he stated that everyone must ensure that their actions do not harm the party.
“Just two or three people are hurting lakhs of workers and causing damage to the party…we are watching it, we will talk to them, and if things keep going like this, whatever needs to be done will be done. I have said whatever I have to, it is not necessary to tell before media what we will do,” he said.
Singh is expected to meet with some legislators on Friday before attending the state BJP core committee meeting in the evening.
