CM BSY meets Vice President Naidu, calls his Delhi visit ‘extremely satisfactory’

Bengaluru/New Delhi: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, on Saturday, met Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in New Delhi to convey all the demands and requests of the state. The CM called his visit to Delhi “extremely satisfactory.”

Speaking after the meeting, CM BSY said that the met the Vice President only for five to six minutes as the latter was in a hurry as he had to attend the Parliament session. “Next time, I will meet him for half an hour,” he said.

Regarding the matters discussed during the short meeting, CM Yediyurappa said that he conveyed all the demands and requests of the state. “Most of the demands have been fulfilled this time. My visit to Delhi has been most satisfactory,” he added.

Speaking about the Karnataka Cabinet expansion, BSY said that he has conveyed a message about the same.

“JP Nadda, our national party president will most probably speak to Prime Minister Modi and may convey it by the end of the day,” he said, adding that he is expecting the cabinet to be expanded before the start of the Karnataka Assembly session on Monday.
