Bengaluru: When the All India Congress Committee (AICC) selected DK Shivakumar as the new party state unit chief, several raised objections. But now the exact reason for his selection is becoming evident. He is now giving the party a much-needed facelift in the state.
After a whirlwind state tour, DKShi has now decided to take on the state government. He is now planning Janadhwani protests in all the taluk centers on August 20 against the state and central governments.
“On August 20, between 11 am and 1 pm, party activists will hold a dharna in all the taluk centers,” said DKShi.
“We need at least Rs.10,000 crores for flood relief and the COVID 19 related management. However, the central government is blind towards our problems,” he said.
