Bengaluru: IMA scam kingpin Mansoon Khan has been granted bail by the Karnataka high court. He has been in prison since July 19, 2019.
The bail which was granted to him by the court on health grounds, will come into effect from February 12.
The court directed the CBI which is investigating the case to complete his statement recording before the above date.
Khan is facing the allegation of collecting a huge sum of money, violating the RBI rules and cheating the investors. The CBI which is investigating the case filed charge sheets against two IPS officials and a number of other officers of the Karnataka government.
