‘Inflation is adding salt to injury during Pandemic’ says Supriya Shrinate

Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee National Spokesperson  Supriya Shrinate addressed the media persons on high inflation in the Modi regime in Bengaluru on Wednesday July 14.

Supriya Shrinate said, Inflation is adding salt to injury, especially during a time when jobs are vanishing and GDP growth is shrinking. She stated that “In last seven years, thirteen times we have witnessed a hike in fuel prices which is another module in profit earning,” she alleged.

Stating the condition of the farmers she said, “It is not just petrol or diesel that has seen the price hike. The farmers have to spend 14kg of wheat in order to buy a month’s supply of edible oil,” she added.

Further, “she said that people at the ground level are more vigilant compared to policymakers. She said the latest reading of inflation figures is alarming.BJP government adding salt to injury by keeping commodity prices high,” She alleged.
