Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani has finally got bail in connection with a drug peddling case related to the Kannada film industry.
The bail was granted on Friday by the Karnataka High Court on a personal bond of Rs 3 lakhs, as well as two sureties of the same amount. Apart from the bond, the High Court gave the Sandalwood actress bail on several conditions including having to mark her attendance on a bi-monthly basis and cooperate with the investigation.
Sanjjanaa was also directed against attempting to tamper with evidence.
It can be recalled that the actress had applied for bail recently citing her health condition as the reason. The High Court had recently rejected the bail and directed the officials to conduct a detailed medical checkup of the actress at the state-run Vani Vilas Hospital instead.
The actress was arrested for possession and distribution of narcotics in connection with the infamous ‘Sandalwood Drug Scandal’.
