Bengaluru: Many people often wonder if wearing mask is necessary when he/she is the only person on the bike or in car.
Now BBMP has answered this question once and for all.
As per the latest government order, wearing the mask is compulsory even in this situation.
According to the latest guidelines issued by the BBMP, when a person drives a car or rides a bike alone, mask is compulsory irrespective of the fact that he may not spread the virus.
Person driving the car alone shall wear the mask while driving, parking the car and even at the signals.
As expected, BBMP circular didn’t go down well with the residents. Many feels that the BBMP is implementing the rules unscientifically in the name of Covid 19 control.
