Bengaluru: The state health department has finalized the menu to be served to COVID 19 patients while at the designated hospitals across the state. As per the menu, breakfast will be served twice in a day (7 am and 10 am), lunch at 1 pm, evening snacks at 5.30 pm, and dinner at 7 pm. At 9 pm flavored milk will be served.
The menu includes fruits, vitamin biscuits, finger millet made food, set dosa, idli, egg, and curd.
The health department authorities said that the menu has been prepared based on suggestions made by nutritional experts and doctors treating the COVID 19 patients.
The cost of servicing the menu has been fixed at Rs: 250 per day per patient and the amount will be debited to the State to the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
