Bengaluru: Clearing rumours about summer vacation and promotion without examinations regarding school students, Karnataka Primary and secondary education minister, S Suresh Kumar said that there was no announcement.
He added that students getting promoted to the next class without examinations was not even close to the truth. He also said that there are several programs for government school children from one to fifth grade being presented through Akashvani, and some are being broadcasted on television.
“Teachers are reviewing student learning progress with the help of local resources. The schools have not announced a summer holiday,” he added.
