One held for murdering bank manager

Bengaluru: The Kaggalipura police have arrested the marketing manager of a real estate firm for allegedly murdering a 29-year-old deputy manager of a private bank by electrocuting him at a roadside pole in the first week of December.

The police have identified the accused, Shivabasave Gowda, 26, a resident of Banashankari. He is married and has two children. He was reportedly attracted to a colleague, who was the fiancé of the victim.

According to the police, the deceased Anil Kumar was the deputy manager at the Kotak Mahindra Bank branch on M.G. Road. He was also a resident of Banashankari. Four months ago, he had got engaged to the woman who was a colleague of Gowda.
