Mysuru: Launching a scathing attack on Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan has said that the former CM has no moral right to attack the ruling government over flood relief.
“It is sad that Siddaramaiah has reached a situation where playing politics over flood relief too has become inevitable for him,” said the DCM, while speaking to reporters on Monday.
“The centre has released relief amount to the state. The Congress leaders must compare the amount of relief released by the BJP and the NDA government, before making statements that the government has failed to tackle the flood situation,” he said
With regard to opening of colleges, the DCM said that the guidelines for the same has been received from the UGC and the central government. All basic preparations are being made in this direction. The re-opening dates will be announced soon.
