Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is investigating the sexual assault case involving former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi asked him to appear for the investigation on Monday at 10 am without fail.
The SIT warned legal action if he fails to join the investigation. The victim’s investigation has almost reached the final stage.
On Friday April 2, Ramesh Jarkiholi skipped the investigation citing fever. As the woman alleging that it is a sexual assault, screws are now tightening around the former minister who played a key role in toppling the JDS-Congress coalition government in 2019.
Meanwhile, the police has collected the victim’s call details of the last ten years.
