Bengaluru: The state registered 1,694 new Corona positive cases on Fridaay, taking the total tally to 19,710.
As many as 21 persons died today. The total COVID fatalities stand at 293 in the state.
A total of 994 cases were reported from Bengaluru Urban alone.
There has been a consistent spike in cases in Bengaluru Urban, which has seen 105 deaths so far.
Other districts that have registered positive COVID cases are: Dakshina Kannda and Ballari (97), Kalaburgi (72), Tumakuru (57), Bengaluru Rural (44), Dharwad (38), Mysuru (35), Mandya (33), Bidar (28), Chamarajnagar (24), Shivamogga (23), Gadag (19), Udupi, Kodagu (16 each), Yadagir (14), Hasan, Belagavi (13 each), Kolar (11), Ramanagar (10), Bagalkote (8), Raichur (7), Davangere and Uttara Kannada (5 each), Vijayapura, Koppal (4 each), Haveri (1), Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga (3 each).
