Bengaluru: A student who appeared for three SSLC examinations tested positive for COVID 19 in Kunigal. Now 18 students who wrote the examination with him in the same examination hall are apprehensive as they are considered as secondary contacts of the patient.
According to the district health officer, the student is now admitted to the Tumakuru district hospital. The swab samples of all the 18 students who wrote examination with him have been collected and sent for lab tests.
According to the sources in the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), the 18 students who wrote the examination with him will be provided with a separate examination hall for the remaining examinations. “Their health will be monitored closely,” informed authorities.
