Bengaluru: Lord’s Ground is called the ‘Mecca of Cricket’ and playing the game here is the dream of every cricketer. A century or five wickets haul in an innings is what every professional cricketer would want in his life.
However, this time, not a cricketer, but a superstar, that too from Sandalwood will play the ‘gentleman’s game’ at the iconic ground.
On Thursday, Kichcha Sudeep tweeted that he has received an invitation to play at the Lord’s ground.
“I’m honored to have got an invite to participate in one of the most reputed cricket tournaments at #Lords,,London. Excited n humbled.. Thank u.” the tweet read.
He is scheduled to play here on May 11 as part of Corporate Cricket Day 2017.
Sudeep’s love for cricket is known to all as he is leading Karnataka Bulldozers team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). He is a good wicket-keeper and right hand batsman himself.
Sudeep fans are eager to see the star spell his magic at the Lord’s ground.
