Bengaluru: IAS officer V Ponnuraj has been appointed as the new secretary to Chief Minister Bommai. He had served as the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
An order was issued in this regard on Sunday August 1. This is the first order by the new CM regarding his new officer’s team.
The CM selects the secretary, Principal Secretary and other officials related to CM’s office. Now Ponnuraj is the first officer to be selected for his team.
Ponnuraj will continue as the KPCL managing director also.
IAS officer Selvaraj was the secretary to CM under the leadership of B.S. Yediyurappa.
