Belagavi: Maharashtra Ekikarana Samiti (MES) has decided to fly one lakh black baloons in Belagavi city on November 1, demanding merger of Belagavi with Maharashtra.
It can be recalled that every year the Samiti has been observing black day on November 1, which marks the Karnataka Rajotsava Day.
According to the Samiti office-bearers, all the party cadres will be supplied with black balloons and these balloons will be flown to sky on November 1 as a mark of protest.
