Bhagavadgita inspired me to take up HR as profession: Narayan T

Mangaluru: The Part 2 of Episode 3 of News Karnataka’s definitive HR talk show, People @ Work on the topic, When @ Startups? was held on October 17.

Ramesh Ranjan, Editor and founder of HumanEngineers.com, a popular HR website that deals with managing the people side of the business hosted the event.

Special guest of the event was Narayan T., CHRO, Accel Partners. He has about 25 years of experience in his career. He has done his Masters in HR and Management at ISB School. He has worked in various companies like Capillary, Rombus, Co-sisters, Colcam etc. He has participated in various marathons, and in the next month he will be participating Marathon Paris.

Narayan said, “HR must be very passionate. My grandfather was a sarpanch, and he usedto take me out along with him and also taught me Bhagavadgita. This helped me take up Human Resource as career. It taught me various things in life, especially taught me how to behave with the people. My grandfather is still my.”

HR is both an employee and business partner. Digital transformation is really a great ooportunity for HR. If I was not in HR profession, then I would be in farming.

When interviewer asked if what is his one desire in life, Narayan said that he has a desire to take a selfie on the top of Mount Everest one day.
