Gurugram: The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) which is an Indian statutory corporation under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Power celebrated its 32nd Raising Day in virtual mode for all of its establishment across the country on October 23.
R. K. Singh, Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, was the Chief Guest, and Alok Kumar, Secretary (Power), Government of India, was the Guest of Honour.
During the event, R. K. Singh presented awards to employees under the POWERGRID Pratiphal Scheme for the best regions, substations, and innovative ideas. An inter-regional cultural event was also held, where employees from various regions showcased their artistic and cultural talent.
