Hindi Day celebration concludes at KIOCL Resource Centre

Mangaluru: The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) celebrated the Hindi Diwas at KIOCL Limited, A Public Sector Undertaking, under Ministry of Steel, Government of India. The closing ceremony of the Hindi Day celebration was held on Sep 28 at KIOCL Resource Centre, Panambur.

The Chief General Manager (Production & Projects) Shri G.V. Kiran, Chief General Manager(Services) Shri Ramakrishna Rao were present. Dr Nagaratna N. Rao, Hindi Head of the department of Mangalore University College was the chief guest. In her address she said that a regional language is limited to that region. If you learn Hindi language, it will be useful for communication in any part of India. She briefly explained the importance of Hindi language.

Aswatha Narayan presented the invocation and Hindi Nodal Officer Ramanath Shanbhag welcomed the gathering. Shri. Rakesh Kumar Srivastava conveyed the message of Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shri. Amit Shah and Shri. Praveen conveyed the message of Union Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shri. Shyamasundara Mishra conveyed the message of State Steel Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste and Shri. Padmanabha Shetty conveyed the message of Chairman and Managing Director of KIOCL,  Shri. T Saminathan.

Later prizes were distributed to the winners of Hindi knowledge, Essay, Chitra Katha Lekhan, Hindi Writing and Administrative Word competitions organized as part of Hindi Day celebrations.

The Chief General Manager (Production & Projects) Shri G.V. Kiran delivered his address stating that being a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India, it is our duty to implement the Hindi language in our day-to-day duties.

The Officials and employees of the organization participated in this function. Gaur Kumar was the Master of Ceremony and a vote of thanks was delivered by Ajith Kumar.
