Maroor’s Ajantha Lubricants organises Shell Workshop 2022

Mangaluru: Mangalore-based Ajanta Lubricants and Accessories, in association with global automotive lubricant giant Shell, organised the ‘Shell Workshop Program 2022’ for the owners of its network of Branded Independent Workshops (BIWSs) on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Hotel Deepa Comforts. About 120 participants from its branded independent workshops in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts attended the meet to enhance their knowledge of Shell products.

Mihir Sangodkar, BIWS Manager (Karnataka & Kerala) of Shell India Markets Pvt. Ltd., was the chief guest for the event. In his address, Sangodkar praised the branded workshop owners for enabling Shell to increase its market share through their excellent performance. “Branded Independent Workshops are the backbone of Shell’s marketing strategy. Following the corona pandemic, the markets are now bouncing back and we need to intensify our effort to retain our market leadership in quality and service,” he said, and motivated the branded workshop owners to continue their good performance and reach higher targets this year.

Kanara Chamber (KCCI) President and partner of Ajanta Lubricants, Maroor Shashidar Pai, former KCCI President and partner Maroor Rammohan Pai, and partner Maroor Anirudh Pai also gave motivational talks. The top-performing Branded Independent Workshops were recognised with awards and certificates.

This was followed by an entertainment programme by Tulu film star Manju Rai. Ujwala was the master of ceremonies. The venue wore a festive look with a glittering display of the latest Shell products.

A unit of the reputed Maroor Group, Ajanta Lubricants and Accessories was established in 1962. It is the exclusive distributor for Shell brand lubricants for Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
