India’s April-October fiscal deficit at 96% of full year’s target

New Delhi: India’s fiscal deficit for April-October period of 2017-18 stood at 96.1 per cent of the full year’s target, official data showed here on Thursday.

The data furnished by the Comptroller General of Accounts (CGA) showed that during April-October net tax revenue received by the government stood at Rs 633,617 crore.
