Moodabidri: Indian Institute for Information technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) and Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) signed a memorandum of undertaking (MoU) that includes cooperation in R&D, and student exchange programme.
The agreement was signed by Registrar of IIIT Dr. Shreeshu Sharma and managing trustee of the Alva’s Education Foundation (AEF) Vivek Alva. Director of IIIT Dr. P Nagabhushan and staff of both organisations were present during the ceremony.
The agreement caters to the needs of both educational institutions such as knowledge exchange, technology cooperation, educational research and publication etc. These measures will help the institutions for future development of the institutions into a higher trajectory, said the joint press release of the institutions.
The official handover ceremony of the agreement will be held on August 23 at the AIET campus in Mijar. Director of IIIT-A Dr. P Nagabhushan and Chairman of AEF Dr. M.Mohan Alva will be present, the press release said.
