Mangaluru: Vivek Bansal scholarship distribution ceremony was held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga School, recently.
Rev. Father. Melvin Pinto SJ distributed the scholarships to 51 students on the occasion.
Presiding over the function, Principal Fr. Melvin Anil Lobo said that the Aravind Adiga Alumni of the school has sponsored the Vivek Bansal Scholarship. Adiga had won the Booker award for his book entitled “The White Tiger”, he informed.
On the same occasion, the new food court at the school was also inaugurated. MS Beena Rosita Pais recited the Bhagavadgita, Quran, and Bible.
Finance Officer Fr. Pradeep Sequeira, vice-principal Jacintha Dcosta, Vidya Esther, Laveena Kunder, and Aqueena were present.
