Mangaluru: Mangalore University will soon release an updated annual academic calendar based on the UGC guidelines, said Mangalore University Registrar Raju Mogaveera (KAS).
On Wednesday, on his first visit to the University College Mangaluru after taking charge as Registrar, he addressed teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. “Efforts are underway to start offline classes for all graduate students. A meeting of the principals of various colleges has been held in this regard. It is important for students to come to college with confidence,” he said and added that the university would release the list of guest lecturers by this weekend.
Appreciating the ongoing development works at the University College, which has a grand history, he assured that Mangalore University will provide all the necessary assistance. “But colleges need to exercise their autonomy,” he said. He advised to look at the cleanliness of the college, the maintenance of the old furniture, the first aid system.
Principal of the college Dr Harish A, and senior officers of the engineering department of the university were present.
