
Chain Snatching at KSRTC Bus Stand, Gold Chains Worth ₹3.9 Lakh Recovered
A woman has been arrested for chain snatching at the KSRTC Sub-urban Bus Stand in the city, with two gold chains weighing 56 grams and valued at ₹3.9 lakh recovered from her possession. The arrest was made by the Lashkar Police after they noticed her acting suspiciously during a routine patrol at the bus stand.
The woman was detained by the police and taken for questioning, where it was revealed that she specialized in targeting women and stealing their gold chains. The investigation, conducted under the leadership of DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and ACP (Devaraja Sub-Division) Shanthamallappa, was spearheaded by Lashkar Inspector K.R. Prasad, who successfully solved the case.
The police continue to investigate the woman’s involvement in other similar incidents, with the authorities commending the swift action taken to apprehend her.
