
Chitradurga DC welcomes SSLC students with roses, sweets, and festive cheer
Students appearing for the SSLC examinations in Chitradurga district, Karnataka, were greeted warmly by Deputy Commissioner T Venkatesh with roses and sweets at multiple exam centres, spreading a festive atmosphere as the crucial exams commenced on March 21.
Speaking at the event, DC Venkatesh emphasized the importance of the SSLC exams, calling it a significant milestone in every student’s life. “This examination should be celebrated like a festival. Students must approach it confidently and write without fear or doubt,” he advised.
The SSLC exams will continue until April 4, with the district administration having made extensive preparations over the past six months to ensure improved results this academic year.
“We have taken several steps to boost performance, and to ease the pressure on students, we created a cheerful environment at the centres today. Our goal is to motivate them to write the exams with enthusiasm and self-confidence,” the DC added.
Officials including Additional DC BT Kumaraswamy, Deputy Director of School Education MR Manjunath, Block Education Officer S Nagabhushan, and other education department members participated in the event, extending their best wishes to the students.
