Every time a disaster happens, it will have positive and negative consequences. COVID pandemic is no different. Because of COVID, there have been a lot of changes in our human interactions. Even when it came for the first time the primary emotional response was fear. When we hear that the new strains are coming, though the intensity of fear has reduced, Fear per se has not.
People are not scared about the health issues that COVID would cause but the socio-economic crisis that it would bring into their lives. A lot of people have already lost their jobs, their businesses have slowed down. So, the fear is mostly what would happen if the second strain or the third strain starts spreading through society.
On the other side, what we can also understand is, if we have passed through a difficult phase, then passing through another difficult phase wouldn’t be that tough. We just need to continue the preventive measures that we have learned during all these months.
After all, we will have to be ready every time to face any kind of challenge in our lives. The same rule applies in the case of COVID too.
I am scared of what would happen with the new COVID strains coming up!?
