Good Neighbour Responds To Hardships Of Dwellers Near Bandipur Forest Area

Chamraj Nagar: Normally food kits are provided to the poor in the urban areaa. Many of the donors have not moved to rural areas, especially forest areas, where the residents are suffering. Knowing this, Good Neighbour India has addressed the issues of the rural poor by offering groceey kits to the Bandipur tribals near Gundlupet in the district.

Speaking after symbolically distributing grocery kits containing rice, millet, cereals, sugar, salt, oil and such other spices to the families of 70 students in Karamaala, a village of Bandipur, the project manager Ishwar said that other colonies including about 360 families of Kaniyanapura Colony, Hadi Kanive, Chikka Elachetti, Channikatte, Lokkere, Ananjihundi, Burudara Hundi, Chaluvarayana Pura, and Guddagere will receive groceries.

The tribal people who live in Corona times during in the second wave of the corona are sitting at home with no jobs and hence lack enough food to eat. Realising this, Good Neighbour decided to distribute groceries to about 360 families. He also said people in the colony are also made aware of coronavirus infection.

Sunil Kumar, Kusuma, and Mamata from Good Neighbour India as well as Magesh of Health Department were present at the event.
