Mangaluru : ICYM Bondel unit celebrated Vanamahotsava 2018 at St Lawrence Church premises Bondel on 29 July 2018. Steven Goveas, Vice President, ICYM Bondel unit welcomed the gathering. Fr. Andrew Leo Dsouza, Parish Priest; Fr Clifford Pinto and Rev. Fr. Leo Veigas, Assistant Parish Priests; Wilfred Alvares, ICYM Animator; Alisten Greg Tauro, President, ICYM Bondel unit; Melinda Elma Dsouza, Secretary, ICYM Bondel unit, ICYM members and parishioners were present for the programme.
Fr Andrew Leo Dsouza inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling and addressed the gathering on the importance of growing plants and trees. Soon after the inaugural programme, Fr Andrew Leo Dsouza along with the dignitaries distributed the saplings to the parishioners and ICYM members planted saplings at the corner of the new school ground. 30 youths participated in this programme.
