Mangaluru: Independence Day and Feast of Assumption of Mother Mary was celebrated on August 15 at the Bondel Church permises. Fr Leo Veigas was the main celebrant. Fr Andrew Leo DSouza preached the Homily. After the mass there was short programme open air. Laveena Sequiera, CRP of Kavoor Cluster was present as chief guest of the programme and hoisted the flag. Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Henbert, Secretary Francis, students and teachers of St Lawrence English Medium and Kannada Medium School and parishoners were present.
