Mumbai: Shekhar Poojari Brahmavar, founder member of the Varamahalakshmi Pooja Samiti, a former president of the Malad local office of the Billavara Association, a resident of Thakur Village, Kandivali east, was passed away on June 7 last year.
His first year of commemoration was held on June 7 at the Billavara Association’s Malad local office.
Santosh Poojari, the executive vice president of the Billavara Association’s Malad Local Office, has dedicated Pushpanjali to the portrait of Shekhar Poojary and addressed the event.
Jagannath N Shetty, Chairperson of Malad Varmahalakshmi Pooja Committee said, Shekhar Pujari, was an active member of many organizations.
He said that the services made by him are with us are always remembered by the Tulu-Kannadigas of Malad.
Ravi Swamiji spoke on this occasion. Jagannath Mendon Saligrama, the Vice-Chairperson of the Varamahalakshmi Pooja Committee commemorated the services of Shekhar Pujari in his ten years of service to our committee.
Umesh Anchan Marnad, chairman of the Shri Mahammai Durgaparameshwari Temple Committee, spoke about the Shekhar worship and reminded them of their service.
