Mangalore: Ex-Service men Shreejaya Shetty hoisted the flag at the Independence day celebration held in the Prakruti School, Sanoor near Karkal.
He inspected the parade and later went ahead, distributed prizes to the school children.
Principal of the school, Shri. raghavendra Shenoy, Administrator Shri. Ashok, Headmistress of the school Shrimati Mamata mohan were present at the occasion.
Shri. vinayak Jog rendered the vote of thanks while Sakshaat Shetty compered of the program.
School childen introduced to the natures beauty:
A small program called “Ulume Olume” was organized to the school children introducing them to the traditional paddy farming(neji neduvudu).
