Delhi: 20-Year-Old Man Fatally Stabbed, 4 Arrested Including 2 Minors


Following his arrest on Saturday, Mr. Kumar appeared in court and was placed under five days of police custody. According to the sources, Mr. Kumar gave evasive answers when being questioned.


Following Ms. Maliwal’s complaint, the Delhi Police arrested Mr. Kumar on charges of molestation and attempted culpable homicide.

According to the Indian Penal Code, the Civil Lines police station is the scene of a formal complaint under sections 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 341 (wrongful restraint), 354(B) (assault or use of criminal force against woman with intent to disrobe), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

Iqwal had sustained 6 stab wounds on left and right thigh. Upon getting noticed by the public, he was immediately rushed to the JPC Hospital and during treatment, he lost his life.

The police team received information from the JPC Hospital regarding the stabbing of the young boy.

As soon as the Seelampur police team arrived on the scene, they detained the suspects and filed a formal complaint against them under IPC section 302, with an ongoing investigation.

Every accused person lived in Delhi’s Seelampur neighborhood. Two of the primary accused in this case are minors, ages 15 and 17, and Mohd. Adil Ansari (19) and Faisal (18), who both worked at the car wash workshop in Delhi’s Seelampur neighborhood of Gautam Puri.

Iqwal and the accused allegedly got into a fight about a small matter about a week ago. Out of fury, they plotted their retaliation, confronted him in public, and fatally stabbed him.
