In a significant operation, city police have recovered stolen items valued at Rs 12 lakh and made arrests in connection with several theft cases. The operation targeted thefts reported at Bhalki, Mehkar, and Humnabad police stations, resulting in the resolution of 11 theft cases.

Among the recovered items are gold and silver articles, 10 two-wheelers stolen from a temple in Telangana, and a buffalo valued at Rs 7 lakh. Specifically, 11 grams of silver and 1 gram of gold ornaments were recovered, along with the buffalo by the Mehkar station police. The operation led to the arrest of five individuals linked to these thefts.
