Baahubali’s Mahishmati Kingdom now a tourist spot!

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion is truly a movie for the ages. It broke not only film industry records but also borders and barriers the world over. The saga broke the box office and catapulted the careers of the cast including Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and turned them into household names.

South and North Indians became one in the their love and admiration for the brilliant work of art, that is Rajamouli’s Baahubali.

One of the main attractions of the movie was the beautifully detailed and mesmerising film sets that enthralled and transported the viewers to the Kingdom of Mahishmati.

There’s good news for those of you who wished to roam the streets or frolic in the mythological kingdom of Mahishmati. The magnificent sets of Baahubali in the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad have been declared as a tourist spot.

The sets, costing a hefty Rs 60 crore, is spread over a 100 acres of land. Pretty impressive indeed.

Entry tickets will range between Rs 1250 and Rs 2349. Tickets can be booked on Ramoji’s official website however, for now these bookings are available only till December 14.

A studio official said, “Besides the set, some props too have been retained for visitors to see. We have many film students, cinema lovers and even general public visiting us. At the moment, it’s the spot that is attracting maximum tourists for us.”
