Goa: Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka starrer “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM)” is embroiled in numerous controversies beginning with the right-wing outfits and few political parties opposing the release of movie for featuring the Pakistani actors. Though Karan Johar’s ADHM managed to clear all the hurdles before the release and now when the movie is doing well at the box-office, a fresh controversy has been created.
The controversy has nothing to do with Pakistani actors; instead a dialogue has not gone down well with the legendary singer Mohammed Rafi’s family and fans. In the film, the leading lady Anushka Sharma tells Ranbir about Rafi, “Woh gaate kam, rote zyada thhe na?” The family has even demanded public apology from the director.
Sonu Nigam had also asked his fans on Twitter if such a dialogue was actually a part of the film.
And now Goa DGP Muktesh Chander has also called for people to boycott the film for the same reason. Chander took to Twitter on Tuesday expressing his thoughts.
Though Karan Johar could clear all the controversies before the release of his film, it will be interesting to see how he will react to the fresh controversy.
