Mangaluru: A J Hospital, known to be the only NABH accredited hospital in Dakshina Kannada, has recently entered into an agreement with the Government of Karnataka to provide treatment to the beneficiaries of various schemes.
The beneficiaries will be treated under the schemes to cover super specialities such as cardiology, neonatal and paediatric surgery, neurosurgery, cance, urology/kidney related problems and burns (plastic surgery) for surgery/procedure under Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust.
The schemes under which the beneficiaries can avail treatment are as follows: Vajpayee Arogyashree (VAS) – Cashless treatment to BPL card holders; Jyothi Sanjeevini Scheme (JSS) – Cashless treatment for State Government Employees; Rajiv Arogya Bhagya (RAB) – APL card holders willing for co-payment and Rashtriya Bala Swasthya Karyakrama (RBSK) – Covers treatment for congenital defects (Cardiac and Neuro surgery). All the children 0-6 years of age in rural areas and children from 6-18 years of age enrolled in classes 1st to 12th in Govt. and Govt. aided schools are eligible to avail cashless treatment.
Apart from the above, Yeshasvini (Co-operative Society Members) can avail treatment for all general and super specialties at A J Hospital.
