Career Opportunities – Choose your career path

“Experienced tradition, expect success!” is the philosophy of the Indian work culture. This philosophy could have been applicable to the previous generation but cannot command any accuracy for this generation of aspiring, flamboyant, risk-taking professionals. Education is the prayer of every individual breath in this country and the system of education due to various external and internal obstacles has become outdated and irrelevant.

With the advent of the internet and the prowess of connectivity, attaining education from a professional university is no longer the sole path to command success. Daily, we hear about individuals that defy the odds to emerge on top. Most of us are a part of the system that produces thousands of graduates every year, with a very minimal number of them attaining suitable and sustainable jobs.

Why are we facing this epidemic?

Is it because of saturation in a particular field? Is it because there are just no job vacancies? The answer is, even though there are various vacancies, the graduates are just not apt to the market demands and the brunt of the burden falls on the employer to train these individuals to do the jobs that they were hired to do because of this an average employer will have the existing workforce cough up this additional work in exchange of some incentives. Now the question arises… Are the graduates to blame? The answer is quite fuzzy as this situation arises from the combination of factors like the inability or disinterest to learn from the students and the outdated syllabus though by the educational institutions.

How do we overcome the problem?

The Engineering Colleges in Bengaluru having faced the backlash of their ill employed policies are trying to overcome this by means of providing open electives which ensures that the student Is well-rounded, the top engineering colleges in Bengaluru are setting up research laboratories to advance research work and critical analysis also they tend to offer new specialization fields like Megatonics, Medical Engineering, Construction Technology etc amongst the traditional fields at the B.Tech level. To ensure that the candidate is competitive several technical and cultural events are conducted every semester.

Admission to Engineering colleges in Bangaluru:

As we already know the facilities provided and also being the IT hub of India, securing a seat here is difficult and the candidate is expected to go through entrance exams like the KCET, JEE Mains, COMED-K and other respective exams. The KCET is the best bet as this is facilitated by the government of Karnataka, The Government also provides scholarships and concessions for meritorious students. The fee structure through KCET is regulated so the students will not incur heavy financial burdens. The innovative Educational Institutions of Bangaluru are listed below:

? International Institute of Information Technology.
? R.V College of Engineering.
? P.E.S University.
? Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
? B.M.S College of Engineering.
? Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
? Reva University.
? NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
? R.N.S Institute of Technology.

Better we fail in originality than succeed in Imitation.
