Mangaluru: Cascia High School on December 3, celebrated its Founder’s Day inaugurated their platinum year.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the programme, Fr Antony Serrao, Secretary of Catholic Board of Education, expressed the importance of a parent’s role, along with that of the teachers, in educating children.
Swami Raghuramanandaji, swamiji of the Ramakrishna Matt, pointed to various challenges faced by the current education system and stressed on the importance of mental support in educating a child. He also appreciated the efforts of Cascia High School’s teachers.
B.E.O. of Mangaluru South Rajalakshmi appreciated the efforts of founder Monsignor F. X. Fernandes and congratulated the school’s faculty on their platinum jubilee year.
Everist Crasta, Headmaster of the school introduced committee members. Fr. Eric Crasta, correspondent of the school welcomed the dignitaries. Sunitha Crasta compered the programme and Aruna Prasad Rai thanked the guests.
Retired Headmasters of the school, former teachers, alumni association members, PTA members, and parish council members were present.
